Rapper T.I. could do with some positive press. He’s due in court in LA on Friday on drug possession charges and spent Wednesday being quite the Good Samaritan. On hearing that a man was threatening to jump to his death from the roof of a 22-floor building in Atlanta, T.I. rushed to see if he could help.

"He came to the scene and offered to talk to him, we told the young man that, and he came down," Officer James Polite told Atlanta newspaper, The Atlanta Journal Constitution. T.I. spoke with the man briefly before the potential jumper was taken to hospital.

"He didn't have to stop, “ added Polite, clearly impressed. “He could've kept on going about his business. We're happy it ended the way it did, and we thank him."
