Professor Green has distanced himself from rumours that he was working with Sugababes' original line-up.

The rapper told Digital Spy that a tweet on January 5 from Sugababe Keisha Buchanan - which had said she was in the studio with Green and "two lovely ladies with bags of talent" - isn't quite what eager Sugababes fans were hoping for.

In fact, Green said he was just upstairs in the studio working on his own material - and Buchanan was downstairs. When asked about the rumour, he said:

"No no no no, I was working with a producer [called] Mojo upstairs and Naughty Boys was downstairs working on something with Keisha. I was in the same complex and Keisha tweeted that I was there and she was with two girls, and it just spread like wildfire."

Original Sugababes member Mutya Buena has already moved to deny the rumours.
