Professor Green: 'One Direction should put more thought into their tattoos'

British rapper Professor Green has revealed that while he's a big fan of body art, he wishes that youngsters like One Direction would spend more time planning their designs

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the 'Monster' hitmaker explained that it's disappointing to see stars with so much influence over their fan base getting tattooed at the drop of a hat because not only does it send out quite a reckless message to impressionable teenagers, but it's also a shame that they aren't putting more meaning behind their ink:

"It takes me a while to decide what tattoo I want. I sleep on it. You get these young kids like those boys in One Direction who go crazy and start tattooing their bodies all over. You never know, they might like them in a few years or they could be really sad about it."

Back in July, 'Little Things' heartthrob Harry Styles confessed to Sugarscape that he already regrets a couple of pieces that are permanently on his body: "There are some that my friends have done and some that are just awful... I regret this one on my wrist here."

Earlier this year, One Direction sent out a request for their followers to email them photographs of any tribute tattoos they've had done in honour of the boyband, but quickly retracted the post after realising that many of their fans are underage.
