Pulp announce one-off UK headlining gig

Pulp, who are set to rock Reading and Leeds festivals later this summer, have announced details of a one-off UK headlining gig.

The 'Common People' stars will perform at Brixton's O2 Academy in London on August 31 in what will be their only UK headlining non-festival appearance to be put on general sale this year.

Jarvis Cocker and his Brit-pop band played at Wireless festival last night, July 3, and after their set, which included classics such as 'Disco 2000' and 'Do You Remember The First Time', they told the crowd:

"Christmas just came early. See you all again... in about fifteen years probably."
