RESTLESS: RELEASE DATE: 27th MAY
 
Monday 21st May brings the release of “Restless”, the eagerly awaited single from Swedish electro-goth princess Karin Park. The Norwegian Grammy award winner has already received incredible specialist support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Rob Da Bank and Giles Peterson.
 
Following on from Karin’s debut UK EP release “Tiger Dreams” at the end of 2011,  and “Fryngies” the critically acclaimed single, “Restless” is a dark hooky killer-chorus track, full of Karin’s signature moody electronica sound. With a modern experimental 80’s pop feel and Karin’s unique spell-binding vocal, “Restless” is a massive driving electro-pop track, industrial yet with a commercial edge it crosses the brooding electronic landscape into the mainstream arena.
 
Having supported Azari & III and SBTRKT on their recent European dates, Karin has proven that live she is a force to reckoned with. Like an Amazonian electro-gothic warrior, her vocals range from pop to opera; her sets are undeniably electrifying, pushing musical boundaries and encapsulating what it is to be a truly modern artist while dodging any approaching pigeon-holes.

Karin’s new album “Highwire Poetry” is due to the release on the 28th May, encompassing a  dark and magical set of experimental electronica and gothic-pop.
