Having watched his Mother conduct choirs as a child and inheriting his Grandfather’s obscure and eclectic record collection, Eric Wahlforss became interested in church music as an art form and in Ecclesia set to fuse together these classical influences in his life with the modern electronica we are immersed in.
 
Fans can listen to some of the inspirations for Ecclesia in these personal playlists from Forss, with the minimalist works of Arvo Pärt through to the masterful depth from Johann Sebastian Bach it’s a real insight into the world of Ecclesia and the off-the-radar compositions that had an influence in its makings.
