“Example’s brand of rave-pop has risen to become the biggest, loudest sound in the UK” – NME

This year Example sold-out his first 14-date UK arena tour amazing fans with his blinding, critically acclaimed live show rivalling that of his stadium-size rock contemporaries. Last year he a sat at the top of the UK charts with a No.1 certified platinum album ‘Playing in the Shadows’ and two consecutive No.1 singles including ‘Changed the Way You Kiss Me’ and ‘Stay Awake’.

There is no rest for man of the moment Example, he’s back and ready to unleash the massive comeback single from his third studio album. Produced by DJ Dirty South, ‘Say Nothing’ is an anthemic stadium filler, laced with a hooky guitar riff and signature Example killer chorus. This track is a destined radio smash; overflowing with Example’s classic lyrical prowess.  To add to the potent mix, Example has recruited the legendary guitar skills of Blur hero Graham Coxon. ‘Say Nothing’ is one of four songs on ‘The Evolution Of Man’ that Coxonplays on. “I met him at a War Child gig at Shepherd’s Bush Empire,” says Example. “Then I saw him at The Brits, and told my manager we needed to get him on the album. So I pitched my idea, then went to his house and played him the album. On some songs he just picked up his guitar and started freestyling. It was fucking amazing.”  As well as ‘Say Nothing’Coxonplays on ‘Crying Out For Help’ – the albums full-on redemption song - which is Soundgarden crossed with The Animals, and has a prog-rock feel thanks to the experimental guitars and electronics; on ‘Snakeskin’, the distant cousin of Nirvana’’s ‘Come As You Are’ and finally on the Zane Lowe-produced album finale ‘Blood From A Stone’, which sounds like Jack White jamming with The Chemical Brothers.

Following a massive sold out tour in 2012, Example has also announced new headline arena dates that will see him kicking off 2013 in style. The huge 16-date tour will kicks off at Bournemouth’s BIC on 11th February and ending at Manchester’s MEN on 1st March tickets go on sale Friday 24th August.  It’s been an incredible year for Example live, in April he played a 14-date UK arena tour rivalling that of his stadium-size rock contemporaries.  This summer he maintained his stranglehold on the world of Electronica with 12 shows in Ibiza spendingthe summer months on the road playing a plethora of festivals across the UK and Europe including T in the Park, Wireless, Radio 1’s Hackney WeekendBenicassim and most recently a storming set at V Festival on the main stage next to Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and The Stone Roses to rave reviews.
