No Queens Of The Stone Age reunion for Oliveri

Nick Oliveri has revealed that Josh Homme recently turned him down after asking to rejoin Queens Of The Stone Age on stage.

Oliveri left the 'No One Knows' rockers back in 2004, but despite still being on good terms with the rest of the members explained to ugo.com that there is very little chance of any kind of musical reunion:

"The last time I saw them play was a benefit for Brian [O'Connor] in L.A., from the Eagles. I was down there and I mentioned to them, "Why don't I come up and do 'Millionaire' or something, and sing it and not play bass?" He was like, "Nah, I don't think that's a good idea yet." It's kind of in his court for stuff like that."

Queens Of The Stone Age recently announced they will perform in London on May 17, but Oliveri won't be joining them as he added:

"I kind of feel that Queens is a totally different band now than what it was."
