Sound of Rum unveil their video for 'So Low'

Taken from their 'Balance' album, released in 2011, Sound of Rum; the hip-hop inspired 3 piece, continue to deliver their punchy poetic music, headed by Kate Tempest. SOR kick off the year with the digital-only release of their third single  and video (following Slow, Slow and Best Intentions), 'So Low' ; a reflective anthem set to battle the New Year blues, released 9th January.

Having had a breakthrough year in 2011 debuting their 'Balance' album in May, the band went on to perform at a number of high profile festivals and events including BestivalLatitudeCamden CrawlGlastonbury, Blissfields Great Escape, Electric Picnic, Les Inrocks (Paris) and also completed a tour of Germany, playing shows at Hamburg's Reeperbahn Festival, and in Berlin.

Appearances alongside Scroobius Pip (a longterm fan) and Mercury-nominated rapper Ghostpoet have added to their kudos points this year, as well as performing across a dozen shows as special guest to Billy Bragg (on his Leftfield in Motion tour with The King Blues and Akala).
