Spotify hopes to get Radiohead's new album 'soon'

Spotify hopes to get its hands on Radiohead's new album as soon as possible.

The group unveiled their long-awaited new record 'A Moon Shaped Pool' online on Sunday evening (May 8).

It is available on platforms such as iTunes, Apple Music and Tidal.

Spotify, however, have not yet received the rights for the record.

In a statement, a rep for the streaming service said its hopes to land the album soon.

They said: "Radiohead's new singles 'Burn The Witch' and 'Daydreaming' are already available on Spotify, and we look forward to making the rest of 'A Moon Shaped Pool' available on Spotify as soon as we can."

Radiohead preceded the album with the two songs 'Burn The Witch' and 'Daydreaming'.

The band's last album 'The King of Limbs' was released in 2011.
