Radiohead's 'A Moon Shaped Pool' rises to top of UK albums chart

Radiohead have returned to No.1 on the UK albums chart after their latest record 'A Moon Shaped Pool' received a physical release.

The band's record has risen 84 places to top the Official Charts Company's midweek update today (June 20).

It has sold 34,000 combined sales in the last seven days to return to No.1 after originally reaching the peak position in May.

At No.2 on the midweek update is Red Hot Chili Peppers' new entry 'The Getaway', which also logs sales of over 30,000 units.

Jake Bugg's 'On My One' debuts at No.3, while Rick Astley's '50' drops from the top spot to No.4.

Rounding off the top five is Mumford & Sons and Babaa Maal's 'Johannesburg'.

Christine & The Queens' maiden record 'Chaleur Humaine' is in at No.8, while the Stone Roses' 'The Very Best Of' is up four places to No.11.

French metallers Gojira meanwhile debut at No.19 with 'Magma'.
