Rebecca Black's viral hit song 'Friday' has been named as the most watched video on YouTube in 2011.

She beat off competition from 'Ultimate Dog Tease', which features an overdubbed canine.

The list, which excludes videos from major label music artists, saw the Michael Bolton cameo clip 'Jack Sparrow' land at No.3.

Elsewhere on the list, which was published by the official YouTube blog, a cover of Chris Brown's 'Look At Me Now' was named as the 6th most watched video in the world over the last year.
