Music Inc Celebrates Forty Years Helping Curate The Long Island SoundOFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY Rick Eberle Agency Plainview, NY – September 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of All Music Inc., a Long Island staple for musicians, music enthusiasts and the community alike. Founded in September 1984, the store has grown under the ownership of Guy Brogna, a former internationally touring musician, into one of the largest and most respected guitar shops in New York. Guy’s journey from bassist with Ludichrist and Scatterbrain to entrepreneur is one of passion, hard work and dedication. “Music is not what I do, it’s who I am,” a phrase often seen on posters and inspirational sites, is something Guy truly lives by. His career took him around the world, but it was All Music Inc., the shop he frequented growing up, that would later become his long-term home. After years of touring, Guy returned to Long Island, joining the business in 2001 and has since built the store into a musical powerhouse. Over the years, Guy and his team have grown All Music into a premier destination for musicians. With top brands like Fender, Martin, EVH, Charvel and Cole Clark, as well as a renowned lesson program serving hundreds of students, All Music is much more than a store. They rent over 1,500 instruments to local students and have repaired guitars for legends like Richie Blackmore, Jesse Lacey (Brand New), and Michael Angelo Batio. In 2012, Guy took full ownership of the store and continued to expand its influence. He's partnered with up-and-coming and exclusive brands like Cole Clark, Larrivee and Walla Walla Guitar Company, constantly pushing boundaries and keeping the local music scene vibrant. Guy’s connection to the Long Island music community runs deep. Through partnerships with WBAB, 94.3 - The Shark and local charitable organizations like Long Island Cares and ROCKcanROLL, All Music gives back through intimate in-store performances, food drives and toy donations. Notable artists, including Devon Allman and Geoff Tate (Queensryche), have graced the All Music stage. The store has also hosted clinics featuring renowned musicians like Larry Mitchell, John Moyer (Disturbed), Bakithi Kumolo (Paul Simon) and Mark Mendoza (Twisted Sister). All Music Inc.'s influence extends well beyond Long Island with an online store that has served high-profile musicians like Keith Urban and Joe Satriani. Guy Brogna’s extensive industry connections have helped expand the store's reach globally, while maintaining a reputation for quality and integrity that resonates with musicians at every level. Guy’s passion for music goes beyond running a successful business. He continues to perform, recently reuniting with Scatterbrain drummer Mike Boyko and playing at prestigious events like the Steve Vai Academy and Paul Gilbert’s Great Guitar Escape. His dedication to the craft keeps him closely tied to the music scene, both as a performer and as a mentor to other musicians. In addition to his musical endeavors, Guy has ventured into the booking scene. Alongside Rick Eberle, he co-founded G&R Events, which has become a major player in Long Island’s live music scene. Together, they curate events like the Jones Beach Bandshell Summer Concert Series and Oyster Fest, while also booking top talent not only locally (Eisenhower Lakeside Theater) but also across the region. Guy’s community-driven approach is further reflected in his work with special needs music education through Music Lee Inclined Guy, Inc., co-founding the Occupational Octaves Piano series, now available internationally.
