Rizzle Kicks blast Olly Murs’ record label for ditching them on ‘Heart Skips A Beat’ US release

Rizzle Kicks have blasted Olly Murs’ record label, Sony, after it ditched them on the US release of his hit single, ‘Heart Skips A Beat.’

The former BRIT School graduates, who appeared alongside the X-Factor runner-up on the UK number one, told the Daily Star that they weren’t too happy when they found out they’d been replaced by Chiddy Bang for the Stateside release of the track.

Jordan Stephens said: “Olly called us to say the label wanted Chiddy Bang on the US version.

“They aren’t even that successful. I like them as people and they have some cool songs but our version is better. It’s label bullshit.”

But the ‘Mama Do The Hump’ hit-makers were quick to point out that they don’t blame Murs himself for the decision:

“It’s not Olly, it’s all the label crap. Sony seem to hate us.

“Olly had a change of personnel half way through working on his album and it all changed. They even took our name off the song on his album. If you look at the track listing it doesn’t even have us down as featuring on the track.”
