Rizzle Kicks think Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards' engagement is a "disaster waiting to happen".

The news was confirmed earlier this month after Little Mix star Edwards was seen at One Direction's 'This Is Us' premiere wearing a huge diamond ring.

Malik explained in a TV interview soon after that the pair are "both very happy".

However, hitmakers Rizzle Kicks - comprising Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule - think the engagement won't last.

When asked their thoughts by EntertainmentWise, Harley said: "They're engaged, aren't they like 16?" while Jordan added: "I don't know what's going on there, that's called a disaster waiting to happen inevitability, walking inevitability."

Harley jokingly continued: "She's gonna get paid when they get divorced."

Jordan explained why he was against the official union, clarifying that although they are a "great couple" they should "at least wait" before they start making arrangements to walk down the aisle.  

He said: "If they're childhood sweethearts they're lovely as a textbook example of the kind of integrity that comes with being a popstar, however looking at statistics and on paper I'm going to go ahead and bet, put a wager on them not lasting more than three years.

He added: "I'm sorry guys I like you both as people but I don't think it will work."
