Robbie Williams would love to perform a Glastonbury setSinger Robbie Williams, who has just returned with his new album Heavy Entertainment Show, has revealed that he would "love" to perform at Glastonbury on its iconic Pyramid stage. During a press conference this week, he told reporters that while he would jump at the chance to perform at the festival he doesn't think it's likely to happen in 2017: “If they asked me I do it, but I don’t think it’s gonna be next year. I would love to do Glastonbury. I’ll probably [be having that weekend off]." Williams confessed that if he were to take up the slot, he would want it to be a record-breaking set: "I would like my moment at the Pyramid Stage in front of a record-breaking amount of people.” Radiohead were the first band to be confirmed for Glastonbury 2017, and organiser Emily Eavis recently admitted that neither Daft Punk nor the Stone Roses would take other headlining slots.
