Robbie Williams says "a lot of neuroses" have gone into his new album

Singer Robbie Williams has revealed that "a lot of neuroses" went into making his latest album 'Heavy Entertainment Show'.

He told Britain's The Sun newspaper that he put a lot of pressure on himself for this record and worked incredibly hard:

"There's been a lot of neuroses that have gone into the making of this album: 'I must find a hit from somewhere or else everybody dies.' That's what it's felt like. I've been working really hard. I'm a working daddy. I have a purpose, I've been doing it all for the kids."

He recently told the Radio Times that he has started taking anti-depressants in an effort to quell the "demons" inside his head: "They've been all right. But it happens to coincide with finding a different medication. It's called Brintellix."

"I had a really weird summer. Just couldn't connect with anybody, apart from my wife. I didn't know how to talk to anybody, even people who are with me every day. I was isolated, in my head. It was troublesome and sad. Then I tried this anti-depressant and things have changed. The demons are quiet."
