Robbie Williams has announced details of his next single release.

The singer is releasing his ninth studio album 'Take The Crown' on November 5 and he has already preceded the record with the single 'Candy'.

Williams will now release the song 'Different' as the next single on December 17.

'Candy', meanwhile is today (October 31) currently sitting pretty at the top of the UK iTunes chart.

As previously reported, Robbie Williams recently suggested that someone like One Direction star Harry Styles could be set to overtake him in the pop scene as he gets older.

The 'Angels' man left Take That in 1995 before launching a solo career and he believes that Styles could be tempted to try the same route in the future.
