Robbie Williams on course for charts No.1 double

Cheeky singer Robbie Williams was named the UK's No.1 in both the singles and albums chart this afternoon (November 7) during the midweek update.

His latest single 'Candy', which looks set to hold onto the top spot for a second week, and the newly released record 'Take The Crown' are both at the top of their respective charts, which will give him the second chart double of his career.

Williams first achieved this impressive feat in December 2001 with his Nicole Kidman duet 'Something Stupid' and his easy-listening covers album, 'Swing While You're Winning'.

Meanwhile, British boyband The Wanted have debuted at No.3 with their new offering, 'I Found You', which will give them their seventh Top 5 single to date if it holds on until the positions are confirmed on Sunday, November 11.

Misha B's 'Do You Think Of Me' has made an appearance at No.6, Rita Ora's 'Shine Ya Light' has entered at No.8, and Christina Aguilera has a Top 20 new entry with 'Your Body' at 14.

fun.'s 'We Are Young' has dropped 21 places to No.34 and Nicki Minaj is this week's highest climbing artist with 'Va Va Voom', which has risen 16 spots to 23.
