Robbie Williams extends 2013 UK tour

Robbie Williams has added an extra stadium date to his 2013 UK tour.

The singer had previously announced a batch of outdoor dates in Manchester, Glasgow and London due to take place next summer with Olly Murs as support.

However, a new show at Glasgow's Hampden Park on June 26 has today (November 29) been added to his schedule.

Williams has also now added a new date at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on June 22.

Tickets are now available on a 24-hour presale before going on general sale at 9am UK time on Friday (November 30) - and it seems demand is incredibly high.

Ed Parkinson, spokesperson for ticket website viagogo, said:

"'Take That Progress' was the most searched term on our site in 2011. From the demand we're seeing already, it's looking like Robbie Williams will take the crown in 2013."

He continued: "Whilst support acts don't usually make an impact on demand for the main attraction, Olly Murs is bucking that trend and adding great value to Robbie's tour. Olly was the tenth most in demand act on viagogo this year and his fans are jumping at the chance to see him rise to the occasion of a stadium tour."
