Robbie Williams: "I keep musician hours"

British singer Robbie Williams admits he keeps to "musician hours" when it comes to his irrational sleeping pattern.

The 'Take The Crown' star is currently on his grand European stadium tour with Olly Murs as support.

Williams has revealed his bedtime varies thanks to his inability to sleep at sensible times.

According to British newspaper The Daily Star Williams explained: “The birds are chirping and you start to panic because you’ve got to do it again that evening. It’s eight o’clock and you’re thinking – please go to sleep! I don’t want to watch Jeremy Kyle again and I don’t want to see Loose Women.

He added: “I keep musician hours, which are basically night hours."

Williams recently confessed that he doesn't want to go through the rigours of promoting himself in America again following a hard stint there after releasing a 1999 retrospective collection. He said:

"When I released my compilation album 'The Ego Has Landed' I went to America for two months to promote it. The album sold one million copies. That was not bad. But I don't want to work that hard."

He added: "I've concluded not to try it again. After that I did not promote any album in the US. A lot of fame can be exhausting. I would hardly be able to cope with it [in the US]."
