Robbie Williams has admitted that he has been told by doctors to stop jumping.

The singer is due to turn 40 years old soon and it seems his body has been taking the strain of years of touring.

He confessed that he has been given some strange medical advice in light of his physical efforts - stop jumping.

Williams said: "I'm like, 'That's pretty harsh, being told that'. So bits and bobs on my body are closing down and f**ked and worn away from abuse."

He added: "I've f**king used my body well. I actually want to go to the grave skidding. I will skid into the grave."

Williams meanwhile is due to tour his native UK in the summer in promotion of his chart-topping record 'Swings Both Ways'.
