Sarah Harding lands lead role in Ghost: The Musical

Sarah Harding has bagged a starring role in new travelling production Ghost: The Musical.

The singer will take on the part of Molly, who was originally played by Demi Moore in the 1990 film.

The Girls Aloud star, who recently appeared in Coronation Street, said it was dream come to true to take part in the Bill Kenwright musical.

She told The Sun: "The film is one of my all-time favourites, so to get the opportunity to play Molly is a huge honour for me and I can't wait to get started."

Harding will perform opposite ex Hollyoaks actor Andy Moss, who will play the part made famous by Patrick Swayze.

The show will open at London's New Wimbledon Theatre on August 29.

It will then tour the UK.
