The Saturdays hint at "dancey" new album

The Saturdays have teased fans by giving more information about their new album.

The girl group are set to release 'The Chase' in the spring and it seems the quintet have created a fresh sound for the record.

Frankie Sandford said: "It's obviously the Sats' sound - pop music - and I think it's gone quite dancey and upbeat."

Bandmate Mollie King meanwhile added: "We've actually written along with people for most songs on this album, which we're excited about. We've been working with American producers as well. Dianne Warren... and Rodney Jerkins, who's done legends like Britney [Spears] and Michael Jackson."

The Saturdays meanwhile are currently in the throes of breaking America, with a number of chat show TV appearances under their belt.

They are due to release debut US EP 'Chasing The Saturdays' on January 29, with a reality TV series of the same name due to air in the country on January 20.
