Frankie Sandford launches mental health campaign

The Saturdays beauty Frankie Sandford has teamed up with charity 'Mind' to launch a new mental health campaign that will help to end discrimination faced by those suffering from related problems.

Sandford, who is currently pregnant with her first child, struggled with mental health issues last year and told Capital FM that she wants to help remove the stigma attached to issues such as depression or bipolar disorder as they're still difficult things to discuss publicly:

"For me it's something that's quite close to my heart really as someone that suffered with depression and anxiety. Speaking out about it last year I've wanted to get involved with Mind and this just seems like a great campaign."

"One of the biggest things is getting people to talk about it, not being embarrassed about it and just raising awareness really."
