Sentric Music Group has agreed to a global administration deal with Rough Trade Publishing.

The deal with Sentric covers all of Rough Trade Publishing's artist roster, which will benefit from Sentric's industry-leading administration infrastructure and technology, as well as its expert team both in the US and around the world.

The Rough Trade Publishing artist roster includes Alvvays, Chelsea Wolfe, The Magnetic Fields, Beau Young Prince, The Tallest Man On Earth, Fugazi, Against Me!, Built To Spill, Mission of Burma and Black Lips.

Founded in London in 1991, emerging out of the famous Rough Trade record store, that eventually spawned the record label of the same name, Rough Trade Publishing established itself as one of the most respected independent music publishers in the UK.

Rough Trade Publishing was acquired by New York-born indie publishing heavyweight House Of Hassle in 2016, and the two companies and catalogues were merged and continued forward as a joint entity, trading under the name Rough Trade Publishing.

Today, the company operates with a combined staff and roster, as part of Bank Robber Industries (which also includes synch licensing powerhouse Bank Robber Music, and custom music house Academy Fight Songs).

Rough Trade Publishing runs out of its main office in Hoboken, NJ, with a satellite office and recording studio in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

The deal follows Sentric expansion into the US during 2022, which saw a growing team formed across NY, Chicago and Atlanta.
