Shawn Mendes has revealed what his dream girl would be like.

The singer told Capital FM that he is keen on women with brown hair.

She would also ideally be good on the dancefloor too.

Mendes said: "Well to be honest, I'd like a brunette dancer, but now I've just said that, I'm worried they'll all come after me and the blondes will be annoyed!"

The 'Stitches' star added that he would be happy to go public with a celebrity relationship.

He said: "Yeah I would definitely have a public relationship, why not? It wouldn't bother me.

"As long as the other person is happy, then so am I."
