Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello reach new sales milestone in the UK

Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes and his Fifth Harmony collaborator, Camila Cabello, have achieved an impressive new milestone in the UK where record sales are concerned.

The British Phonographic Industry confirmed the news this afternoon and explained that their song 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' has now been certified Silver, which means that it has sold over 200,000 copies in the countries. The BPI tweeted:

"Huge congrats for @ShawnMendes and @camilacabello97 as ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ is now Silver! #bpiAwards."

Cabello can celebrate a second time as 5H's single 'Worth It' was also certified Gold today, shifting over 400,000 units: "‘Worth It’ by @FifthHarmony and @Kid_Ink has just gone Gold! Congratulations to you all. #bpiAwards."
