Canadian sensation Shawn Mendes has revealed that shooting the music video for 'Treat You Better' has made him 'excited' to get stuck into the other visual projects he has lined up for his forthcoming new record. 

Chatting about the music videos that will come from the 'Illuminate' era, he explained that there will be things that connect them together that eagle-eyed fans will spot:

“I’m excited to film the rest of the album’s music videos actually now, after this. It’s going to be cool ‘cause we’re being very specific about details in the music videos and if people pay really good attention, they’ll see a bunch of connections, which is exciting."

Mendes' new album, entitled 'Illuminate', will be officially released on September 23 and it will act as the follow-up to his chart-topping 2015 debut record 'Handwritten'.
