Canadian singer-songwriter and musician Shawn Mendes recently announced details of a world tour, which will bring him to the UK, in support of his new album "Illuminate" and he "can't wait" for the shows to begin. 

The UK leg of his extensive jaunt is set to kick off on April 27 at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland before moving onto the Manchester Arena in England on April 28, and he will also play London's iconic O2 Arena on June 1. Tickets will go on sale for these concerts at 10am on September 16. 

Speaking about returning to the UK for the tour, Mendes admitted that he is incredibly excited and is especially looking forward to taking the stage in both Manchester and Scotland:

“I’m so excited for the Illuminate World Tour and to head to the UK for the shows there. The British fans have been so supportive and this will be my first time headlining in Scotland and Manchester, as well as the O2 in London. I can’t wait!”
