Canadian hitmaker Shawn Mendes took to the iconic Saturday Night Live stage yesterday (December 3) to perform 'Mercy' and 'Treat You Better', and blew everyone away with his musical prowess. 

Last night's episode of the show also featured Jennifer Aniston, Emma Stone and Alec Baldwin, but Mendes was the musical guest and put his all into his performance.

Following his stunning mini-set, the talented young sensation took to his Twitter page and shared this post with his fans: "Never been so emotionally consumed in a song in my life. Thank you @nbcsnl. Thank you guys for getting me here."
