Shawn Mendes has unveiled a video of himself covering Ed Sheeran‘s ‘Castle On The Hill’ during last month's Capital Summertime Ball.

The 18-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter performed the track live on the piano at Wembley in London, before picking his guitar back up for a rendition of his track "Treat You Better".

Having just performed on Tuesday night (July 11) to 14,000-plus joyous fans at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, Mendes is currently headlining arenas on the US leg of his Illuminate World Tour.

Shawn Mendes released his second album "Illuminate" last year. Like his debut album "Handwritten," it shot straight to the top of the US Billboard 200. "Illuminate" sold 121,000 copies in its first week.

Fans will be excited to learn that the pop star is hoping to release a third album sometime next year.
