Snoop Dogg strives to become new Yahoo! CEO

Hip-hop star Snoop Dogg has expressed his interest in the vacancy role of Yahoo! CEO. 

The West Coast rapper highlighted his intentions via Twitter announcing, "Im takn over as tha Ceo of Yahoo. Need sum of tha Snoop Dogg content ya dig. Nuff Said". Former CEO, Carol Bartz, was recently fired with the company's Chief Financial Officer, Tim Morse, temporarily occupying the vacancy.

However, a message from a Twitter account, believed to be that of Tim Morse said, "Haha Snoop Dog, sorry that position is already filled I enjoy listening to your music".

This sparked the response, "My name is alread raisn tha stock price of Yahoo uhearme!! Bout to call a board meeting!", from Snoop Dogg.

Snoop Dogg struck fame in the early 90s after being discovered by fellow West Coast rapper, Dr. Dre, and has since gone on to release 11 albums.

He is currently featuring in a new thriller, 'The Big Bang', which is a detective story involving a missing stripper, with a 'Cluedo' type storyline. Watch the trailer here:
