DEAD NATURE today announces the release of his incredible debut track 'In My Heart' in anticipation of his first solo EP titled 'Taking My Shadow'.

Released on all platforms on 19th June via Dead Nature Records, 'In My Heart' is available to stream today on Soundcloud BELOW.

'In My Heart' is a stunning debut release from the new solo project of Tarek Musa (songwriting and producing wunderkind formerly of Spring King). Intrinsic, euphoric and fierce in our modern musical landscape, this is a crucial time in Musa's prolific songwriting career in which he explores new corners of creative being.

A distinctive opening song to what is to come, 'In My Heart' is self-produced, recorded and mixed. Enlisting friend and fellow music producer Joe Wills (known for his work with Stealing Sheep, All We Are, Mikhael Paskalev) on additional production duties, the outcome is striking and without a doubt only the beginning of a bold exploration.

'In My Heart' is a vivid window into Musa's past anxieties and future ambitions; offering a tantalising preview of what's still to come from one of the U.K's most exciting songwriting talents. Of the new EP (coming out later this summer) Musa says "I've been facing a lot of my past on this record. The process has been similar to that of my younger years where I was writing songs quite quickly, using instincts and gut feelings to propel the creative process. These songs explore ideas of loneliness and breaking away from your past, whilst challenging the notion of pride and the line between self-respect and egotism."
