LA-based scuzz rockers GOON have shared a new track off their upcoming debut LP 'Heaven Is Humming' (out July 17 via Partisan). "Check Engine Light" premiered yesterday via Consequence of Sound, listen HERE and read more about the song's origins from frontman/guitarist Kenny Becker.

Goon have also confirmed a hometown headline release show Echoplex on July 18 th, tickets for that are on sale now .

"Check Engine Light" is the third song off 'Heaven Is Humming' to be made available, previously Becker shared additional album highlights " Northern Saturn " and " Snoqualmie " - the latter accompanied by a video directed by Becker himself.

Since forming in 2016, Goon have built a cult following in LA, landing a spot on Fader Fort and NPR's Artists To Watch list at SXSW last year. They've earned spotlights from Rolling Stone, Noisey, Spin, Fader + more, and have opened for Shame, Lucy Dacus, Grandaddy, + more. The band's first two EPs - ' Dusk of Punk ' and ' Happy Omen ' - initially released independently and re-issued by Partisan last year - are also available now.

On June 21, Goon will open for …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead at The Echo in LA, more tour dates to be announced soon.
