The love song has proved to be so popular Stateside that it had its very own Snapchat filter for Valentine’s Day, which saw stars such as Alicia Keys and Kim Kardashian posting about it on social media. In addition, MAX performed it on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Watch it here MAX explained what inspired the track: “I wrote Lights Down Low when I first started dating my beautiful wife Emily, who was born and raised in the UK, and I proposed to her singing the song where we had our first date. We always say because the song came from a place of love it will always stand for love whether someone is gay, straight, bisexual, or transgender. It started as our little wedding song and it’s so beautiful that we get to share it with the world.” MAX is also heading to the UK this spring as Fall Out Boy’s support act throughout March and April.
