'Murder on the Dancefloor' songstress Sophie Ellis Bextor has revealed that she will release a new album in early September. 

The singer announced the exciting news on Twitter and explained that fans who are interested can pre-order signed copies of the record, which is entitled 'Familia': "It's official, my new album #FAMILIA is out 2 Sept! (And huge thanks to those of you who’d already found and pre-ordered Familia before I’d even had breakfast! XX)"

Her new single, 'Come With Us', is out now and she will perform a special showcase on September 8 at London's Bush Hall. Tickets for this event will be available from July 21 onwards. 

On July 18, Sophie shared a tweet revealing her excitement at the first play of her new single: "Morning all! Exciting day for me. The world exclusive first play of my new single Come With Us on @BBCRadio2 @RealKenBruce ps it's DISCO."
