“Stranger Things marks that moment where the band stops playing to the room and starts speaking directly to listeners.” – NPR
Next Friday, February 26thYUCK release their excellent new album Stranger Things via Mamé Records and play the first of two album launch shows at London's Moth Club.

Today, with Stranger Things streaming in full over at NPR, they have shared two new video clips & confirmed another London show at Rough Trade East on May 10th.

Last week, the band performed live on BT Sport’s Football Tonight show and have shared a clip from the performance of single “Hearts In Motion”.

Yuck also decided to test-run their new album on two young music & fans and aspiring critics. 11 year old Léa & 9 year old Lola got the exclusive first listen of ‘Stranger Things’ and dish it straight to Yuck’s vocalist Max Bloom.

Cliché or not, the path that Yuck have taken has seemingly all been leading up to the band’s excellent third album, Stranger Things, a record brimming with manic energy and pop hooks for days. Recorded in London over the course of several months at the band’s own pace, Stranger Things reflects the refreshingly un-fraught state of affairs within the group.

Stranger Things is the sound of a band firing on all cylinders, finally comfortable in their own skin and in control of their own vision. Having overcome the weird expectations that come with being a buzzed about new band and all the attenuating complications and growing pains that come with it. Having made exactly the record they want to make, Yuck are looking forward to getting back on the road and playing the songs that made them so happy to create.

Stranger Things is available for pre-order along with various other bundles of merch & Yuck-related fun over at PledgeMusic: http://smarturl.it/strangerthings
