Today Pitchfork announce the return of Pitchfork Music Festival Paris to La Grande Halle de La Villette on October 31-November 2, 2019. In its 9th year, Pitchfork Music Festival Paris will be bigger and better than ever, introducing two new stages - bringing the total to four – as well as pop-up record stores, markets and much more.

This year Pitchfork Avant-Garde, which has previously existed as a separate pre-festival event, will join the main festival. La Petite Halle and the Boris Vian auditorium, located next to and inside the Grande Halle respectively, will each play host to a new stage, welcoming the future stars of tomorrow. The festival continues to set musical trends, boasting its trailblazing status by inviting indie music’s new guard to take over these additional concert spaces, meaning that the three-day festival will now host around 50 different acts.

As the festival takes place over Hallowe’en weekend, this year Pitchfork Music Festival Paris will indulge festival-goers in truly high-spirited party fun with a ball pool, fairground rides and a roller disco. The festival will also host an independent pop-up record store with a selection of sounds spanning today and yesteryear, carefully curated by Les Balades Sonores. The Klin d’Oeil creators market will be back with a brand new look, showcasing creative talent and their musically inspired artisan wares.

Outside, under the Grande Halle’s awning, the festival team’s favourite Parisian restaurants will be out in force with a whole host of food trucks passionately serving up foodie treats that are just as tasty as the music on offer. For attendee’s auditory and gustative pleasure, the Cave à Vins wine bar will be serving up the most perfect music and wine pairing.

For those who like to party late into the night, the fun continues over at the Trabendo, which will host three after-parties of unique electronic live shows and innovative DJ sets, in partnership with Red Bull Music

Set the date in your diaries! The first acts of the 9th edition of Pitchfork Festival Paris will be revealed on 18th June!
