Sterophonics frontman haunted by bandmate's death

Kelly Jones, frontman for rock band Stereophonics, has admitted that he still thinks about former bandmate Stuart Cable "every day" and thinks he would have even rejoined the group if he was still alive today.

Cable, who was the band's drummer until he was kicked out in 2003 amid strained relationships with the other members, was found dead at his home in Wales back in 2010 after a 3 day drinking binge, and Jones told Britain's Daily Star magazine that his memory still haunts him:

"I think about him and miss him every day. Every time we play an old song, he's still there. Stuart, Richard and I achieved a lot together... had Stuart lived, I think he'd have ended up back in the band."

"What happened between us in 2003 was stupid. We could have ironed things out then. I don't think people realise how close we were. We'd known each other for 10 years before the band."
