Jade Ewen hints that the Sugababes are over

Jade Ewen has admitted that she is unsure if the Sugababes will ever be active again.

The female trio - who are comprised of Ewen, Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah - last released a studio album in 2010.

They have largely been inactive since and the emergence of Mutya Keisha Siobhan, who feature the original Sugababes members, has pushed the group further out of the limelight.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Ewen confessed that she thinks the current Sugababes may never reconvene as they are too busy with their own careers. She said"

"I don't even know if the band stuff is going to happen again, if I'm completely honest. I think Amelle wants to do her own solo stuff, Heidi is doing a Happy Days musical...I think we're pretty much done.

"I'm working on solo material at the moment actually. It's only come about in the past three weeks, so it's quite a new project. No-one's really seen me yet. I sang for Eurovision, I've been in a band, but I don't think anyone really knows what I'm about."
