No.1 for Susan Boyle's 'Someone To Watch Over Me'

Susan Boyle's brand new album, 'Someone To Watch Over Me', has managed to outsell Florence and the Machine's latest offering and has taken the No.1 spot for itself in today's midweek chart update.

This record is the Britain's Got Talent's third and according to the Official Charts Company will be fighting up until Sunday, November 13 to maintain its top spot as Florence and the Machine's 'Ceremonials' isn't far behind at all:

"With less than 1,500 copies separating both acts, it has been all change in the last 24 hours with Susan now nudging into the lead with new release ‘Someone To Watch Over Me’ looking to knock Florence & The Machine’s ‘Ceremonials’ from the top spot this Sunday."

Meanwhile, Cher Lloyd's debut album 'Sticks + Stones' has entered at No.3, boyband The Wanted have made an appearance at No.4 with 'Battleground' and rockers Pink Floyd have 2 releases in the Top 40 this afternoon as 'A Foot In The Door The Best Of' and 'Wish You Were Here' have come in at No.15 and No.17 respectively.
