Take That's Mark Owen donates tour tickets to great cause

Take That's Mark Owen has used his band's popularity for a great cause and has donated 5 pairs of VIP tickets to the Progress tour to a deserving foundation.

The ten tickets have been put onto the online auction site, eBay, and the money spent by the lucky winners will be donated to Rainbow School, which is a facility in the UK that educates children with autism. Speaking about the fundraising venture, Owen said:

"Last summer I was approached by a friend and neighbour who has a son with autism and she introduced me to a friend of hers, whose son goes to Rainbow School."

"Rainbow School was, unbeknown to me, literally only yards away from my front door and so after taking a tour of the school, meeting the children and its founder... I decided that I'd really like to help in whatever way possible to support these amazing people."

The ticket auction went live on Monday, May 30 and will end on Friday, June 3 so Take That fans are still in with a chance of getting their hands on a pair and helping out a great cause. Watch Robbie Williams perform 'Angels' on the Progress tour's opening night here:
