Taylor Swift surprises London crowd with Emeli Sande duet

Country-pop superstar Taylor Swift has been performing live at London's O2 Arena throughout this month and her special guest last night (February 10) was 'Read All About It' songstress, Emeli Sande.

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' beauty brought her 'Red' tour to the UK for a run of dates in England's capital and her guests so far have included The Script's Danny O'Donoghue, Ed Sheeran, and Sam Smith, but last night was Sande's turn and they treated gig-goers to a rendition of her single, 'Next To Me'.

Writing on Twitter about the duet, Swift revealed her excitement about performing alongside the BRIT Award winner: "Tonight @emelisande surprised our London crowd with 'Next to Me'!! SHE IS SO HEAVENLY. I've had the best time here. Last show tomorrow..."

Before bringing Sande out onto the stage, Swift told her fans: "I was thinking about playing the O2 and the last time I played it. Do you remember the BRIT Awards last year? I had a great time and I got to meet one of my favourite artists and I watched her clean up at the BRIT Awards. Then I got this idea she could come out and play for you. So what do you think about Emeli Sande coming out to play a song for you tonight?"
