Taylor Swift has been granted a permanent restraining order against a fan who says he is her husband.

The singer won a temporary order earlier this year against Timothy Sweet, who had allegedly been harassing Swift since 2011.

He has now been banned from being within 100 yards of the singer and her immediate family until 2017.

Sweet apparently constantly spoke of his love for the 'Red' Singer via emails and letters.

He said at one point: "My wife, Taylor Swift (Sweet) and I live in Beverly Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to protect her the rest of my life."

Sweet also reportedly said: "If anyone in Taylor Swift's family gets killed, it is not my fault."
