Gena Gabrielle recently had the shock of her life after country-pop sensation Taylor Swift turned up to her bridal shower and Swift has now uploaded a video blog about the whole experience. 

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' beauty shared the footage with her social media followers this evening (April 16) and accompanied the video with the caption: "I haven't done a video blog in about 2 years but this was so much fun, I had to."

The endearing clip shows Swift explaining how she received an invitation to Gabrielle's wedding, but was unable to attend so decided to crash the bridal shower instead. 

Writing on Twitter about Swift's surprise attendance at the bridal shower, Gena explained that she genuinely had no idea the superstar was planning on turning up: 

"I had no idea Taylor was coming it was a complete surprise. She's an incredible person and amazing friend... Thank you for making today even more special... You went above & bring my wildest dreams. I can't thank you enough."
