The upcoming seventh series of The Voice USA will see Taylor Swift making a special appearance as a guest mentor.

Swift’s role on the show will be similar to that of Chris Martin on a previous season whereby he advised all contestants rather than helping out one specific coach.

As well as the ‘Shake It Off’ singer’s advice, contestants will also be counselled by their team coaches and their chosen mentors: Pharrell Williams will be joined by Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani has recruited her husband Gavin Rossdale, Adam Levine will be assisted by Stevie Nicks, and Blake Shelton is bringing country band Little Big Town onto the show.

The new series of The Voice USA premieres on September 22.
