New waxwork figure of Taylor Swift unveiled at Madame Tussauds

A new waxwork figure of country-pop superstar Taylor Swift was put on display at Madame Tussauds in both Hollywood and Washington D.C. today (October 28), to mark the release of her brand new chart-topping album, '1989'.

The figure, which bears a very impressive likeness to the 'Out Of The Woods' songstress, can be seen posing with a red acoustic guitar and wearing a white T-shirt with high-waisted red shorts (pictured below in full).

This isn't the first waxwork of Swift as a statue of her was unveiled in New York at Madame Tussauds exactly four years ago on October 28, 2010.

Earlier this week, Swift opened up about the Internet and confessed that it exposes a 'really dark' side of humanity and she is very wary of how she spends her time online:

"There's a really dark side of humanity and a very dark corner of the Internet, and they know that the most value will be if they can take down someone who is really doing good things... What I think is interesting - and by interesting I mean really terrifying - is how much of our technology we don't understand. To me, if I don't quite understand how something works, I'm sceptical of it..."

"All you can do is try your best to protect yourself. At a certain point you have to stop thinking about it because if I think about it too much I don't like the reality of the situation. There could be someone right now trying to hack into my email."
