Taylor Swift denies YouTube streaming deal

A rep for Taylor Swift has dismissed suggestion that she has struck a deal with Google's new YouTube Music Key streaming platform.

The singer hit the headlines recently after pulling her back catalogue from Spotify, with the US star claiming that it is "unfair" to writers and musicians.

Singer-songwriter Billy Bragg took to Facebook on Tuesday (November 18) to say that Swift is the "headline name on the marquee" for the launch of the Music Key service.

He suggested that the singer has "sold her soul" to Google.

However, a rep for Swift denied that there is any agreement in place between the musician and Google/YouTube.

They told Digital Spy: "Taylor Swift has had absolutely no discussion or agreement of any kind with Google's new music streaming service."
