Taylor Swift's latest album '1989' has sold more copies than 'Red'

Superstar Taylor Swift has confirmed that her album '1989', which was released in October 2014, has sold more copies than her 2012 full length offering, 'Red'.

Writing on her official Twitter page this afternoon (February 12), the beauty explained that she couldn't believe the statistics and is overwhelmed by the exciting news: "Just found out that in 3.5 months, '1989' has now outsold 'Red' (which has been out for over 2 years) AND I THINK THAT'S PRETTY COOL GUYS."

Swift, meanwhile, will release the highly anticipated music video for new single 'Style' tomorrow and she has released several gifs as teasers for the cut via her social media pages throughout the week.
